About Me

I arrived on this planet May 6th of 1955 when si fi hits were at their best and most interesting, and just in time for me to be ready to board the Enterprise in my mind. I was raised in the Bronx, New York city; my family moved to California when I was 16. I had an unusual opportunity to do an internship at the Smithsonian Museum, making exhibits accessible for the disabled, and worked as a docent in San Francisco, while finishing up my BA degree in Art at the San Francisco State University. After realizing that I can’t eat and pay the rent on grants alone, I went to work for Pacific Bell just in time to be caught up in the myriad of paper work surrounding divestiture. In 1993, I moved to Huntsville, Alabama to be near family. After living in Alabama for several years, I met my wonderful little groundhog, Tom L Jones, and he imported me to Chicago, where I now live very happiy ever after; A TRUE BLUE FAIRY TALE – He has a wonderful site at Groundhog 46 My hobby is being a HAM – call sign KF4CHY.
